Scott leads a team of talented and experienced Contracts Regional Directors with responsibility for managing the contractual relationships with airline customers within the Asia Pacific, Oceania and SE Asia region for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Provides technical and strategic oversight for all contracting initiatives within the region including priority sales campaigns, customer negotiations, and aircraft deliveries. Plays an active role in regional risk management by monitoring customer negotiation activity, providing guidance to Regional Directors, and helping to facilitate the involvement of other resources or subject matter expertise as required. Partners with Sales leadership to foster productive relationships between functional teams and represents the regional team and Contracts function in broader organizational forums. Provides leadership for day-to-day operation of regional activities and is a source for trusted recommendations and support to peer and senior executive leaders.

Represented Boeing with commercial airline customers and managed all contractual matters for several customer accounts within the European and Asia Pacific regions. Responsible for the development of contracting and financial strategies in support of aircraft sales campaigns, drafted legally binding agreements, led the negotiation of terms and conditions with customers, and supported the development of business offers and negotiation strategies which meet customer needs and Boeing’s objectives. Oversaw the delivery process for all models of commercial aircraft ensuring customer needs are addressed and that all contractual and financial elements of the delivery are on schedule. Monitored and worked to proactively mitigate legal and financial risks arising under Boeing’s relationships with customers and provided guidance to Sales and other departments regarding contractual and commercial matters.

As a Procurement Manager within the Supplier Management (SM) Payloads and Systems organization, Scott had the pleasure of leading a skilled and experienced team of Operations and Contracts Procurement Agents responsible for the supply of all products manufactured by GE Aviation Systems for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Major contracts managed by Scott's team included the 787 and 777X Common Core System (CCS), the 777 & 777X Electrical Load Management System (ELMS), and the 737 & 737MAX Flight Management System.Prior to leading the GE Supplier Management team, Scott led all procurement activity associated with Eaton Aerospace (Hydraulic and Fuel system components) and Ontic (777 FQIS) for all BCA models. Specific job responsibilities include:Managing Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts. Acquired resources for projects and processes, provided technical management of suppliers and led process improvements. Provided oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Managed, developed and motivated employees.

Scott served as the lead Procurement Agent for Rate Investment, 787-9, and 787-10 contracting activities for the 787 composite wing work package, where he led strategy development and negotiation of all derivative program claims and commercial investments, including engineering, tooling, new technology development, and recurring product pricing. Scott served as a member of the Supplier Managment Procurement Operating Instructions (POI) Board until early 2014, helping to shape policy for the Boeing Commercial Airplanes procurement organization. Other previous Supplier Management assignments included roles in Commercial Aviation Services (Repair & Overhaul Services, IMM/GoldCare & 787 R&O Service Ready), and 787 Structures (Lead Contracting agent for responsible for the Raked Wing Tip/Flap Support Fairings and Movable Trailing Edge Flight Controls Contracts).
