Currently working as a Healthcare Assistant for Nottingham University Hospitals and as a First Responder for East Midlands Ambulance Service. In a previous life and for nearly 15 years prior to this I worked in the security industry for East Midlands Central Station (EMCS Ltd). I worked my way up from a junior advisor to shift supervisor. EMCS Ltd are the UK's leading independent alarm receiving centres monitoring alarms and CCTV across the UK and Ireland. I am now looking forward to my new chapter in healthcare and all the challenges and training it has to offer. In my spare time I respond as a volunteer to 999 calls on behalf of East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) as a Community First Responder. As a responder I attend life threatening emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks, cardiac arrests and breathing difficulties to name a few.When I'm not working I enjoy movies, walking (not running) live music events and socialising with friends and family.
