My role was to estimate, quote and coordinate offsite repairs and upgrades of Bucyrus machinery for major mining house clients. Central to this role was establishing and maintaining positive client relations and communications whilst acting as a central coordinating point between various departments within Bucyrus to achieve positive outcomes for the customer and the business. During my time in this role I was heavily involved in the roll out of disc brake upgrades to a large part of the BMA dragline fleet in the Bowen Basin in that I coordinated the engineering, procurement/manufacture and fitting of upgraded disc brake units to dragline motors as they became available at shutdown.

My role was to plan and coordinate offsite rebuilds on blast hole drill rigs. This involved procurement, budgeting, estimating, planning, coordinating with engineering and other internal departments, customer relations and directing the activities of 2 leading hands on back to back shifts.
