I am heavily invested in others growth and ensuring their development. In the changing world of retail, I shifted with Microsoft away from physical stores to a digital space. While responsibilities changed, my unwavering desire to help others succeed maneuvered into a better space. My journey with Microsoft started in the Chinook Center Mall. I was responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy for the store and improving our supply chain where it was necessary. Assisting people within the organization and outside of it naturally progressed to a leader role, where I was given the opportunity to travel to trade shows and supported setting up Microsoft Flagship store in London, UK. Afterwards, I was awarded a promotion to a Service Advisor where I ensured individuals had what they needed for cloud solutions and troubleshooted issues where they arose. Now, I'm part of the Microsoft Calgary, Canada Education Team - What does that mean as a whole? As a Microsoft Innovative Educator, I invest in others growth by providing specialized training in Microsoft related products such as Office and Teams, and give insight on how individuals may take advantage of the cloud to better their business or personal needs. Before all of this, I came from a varied background of electrical trades and a history of selling in retail. Previous experience included Operations Management and have a certification from SAIT specializing with logistics and operations.
