Data Center Infrastructure Solutions Architect  Collaborate with the sales and technical delivery teams to bring Storage and Converged Infrastructure solutions from across the multiple vendor portfolios including EMC Storage and VSPEX. Currently the Technical Lead team of 4 local and 8 Bangalore TSM resources on the Ford Global Open Systems Backup Delivery Team. Environment includes 160+ UNIX and Windows TSM Servers with 8400+ nodes backing up over 1.1 PBs of data. Client operating systems include UNIX platforms (HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, Linux, VMware ESX), and Windows (2008/2003/2000) systems. Responsible for EMC 4106 VTLs, IBM TS35000/3200 3592 Cartridge and IBM 3310, 3584, 3583, 3582 LTO and HP MSL2024/8096 LTO SCSI and SAN connected tape libraries; Responsible for product lifecycle of both server and client backup software and hardware. Install, configure, tune, upgrade, and monitor Tru64 Alpha Unix servers with 600 users, running TRANS4M ERP application. Architect and deploy HP-UX 11.00 N-class servers, FC connected CLARiiON 4500 storage array, and HP M/C ServiceGuard HAC software. Administrate Solaris 7.0/8.0 and AIX 4.3.1 CAD systems. . Develop and implement system and user security policies procedures, and guidelines. Extensive use of LVM, TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, DHCP, and DNS; Work closely with the offsite disaster recovery vendor to design and implement disaster recovery plan for UNIX and NT platforms.

Install, configure, tune, upgrade, and monitor HP-UX 10.20 and 11.00 production servers with 50 users, running QAD MFG/PRO and custom EDI software. Install, configure, tune, upgrade, and monitor Sun Solaris 7.0, SCO Unix servers, AIX 4.3.1, Digital UNIX 4.0, MPE/iX, and VAX/VMS; in a development environment. Develop and implement system and user security policies, procedures and guidelines. Architect and deploy the migration from MS Mail and pop3 systems to a Windows NT Exchange Server platform. Architect and deploy Fast Ethernet switching network. Perform security administration and auditing. Architect and deploy 2 Microsoft IIS web and ftp servers.
