At my start, Dress Barn had 864 stores. I was hired to help fast-track expansion and traveled nationwide to execute store developments. In the first five years, I completed 500+ capital expenditure remodels/upgrades and successfully facilitated possession/turnover of contracted properties. Additionally, I built out our new 6,800 sq. ft. corporate office in NYC. Throughout each project, I was involved in every aspect: from drawing reviews, cost saving analyses, estimating and budgeting to scheduling, job site inspections, property management and preventative maintenance. At every turn, I kept a keen eye on quality control to ensure 100% lease/code compliance with minimal customer interference.After delivering exceptional results in the construction space, I was selected to a Process Improvement team and facilitated HQ's changeover to Oracle, which enabled more transparent financial tracking and better forecasting. Subsequently, I co-led the creation of a database to consolidate store information and address demographic, sales, and design challenges/opportunities.

Having been involved in dozens of store openings in my earlier role, I was internally recruited by the construction team to support the company's expansion goals, and was instrumental in growing 72 stores to 800+ and three company acquisitions. Initially hired as Store Manager of Operations, I drove a small, average-performing store to the largest location ranked in the Top 3 countrywide in one year, all while increasing district earnings and profitability.Recognized for my leadership strengths and knowledge of how store operations impacted overall company objectives, I was promoted to Northeast District Operations reporting directly to Regional VP. By creating store-specific action plans and training/coaching upcoming managers on policies, procedures, and all phases of construction management, we increased performance and compliance around POS sales, auditing, pricing, inventory controls, asset protection, and human resources.
