As a Senior EHS Solutions Consultant at Intelex Technologies, I play a key role in helping new and existing customer partners implement and optimize Safety Management Systems (SMS) that enhance workplace safety, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Aligned with Intelex’s ambitious goal of eliminating workplace fatalities by 2050, I work closely with clients to tailor innovative, data-driven solutions that foster a culture of safety and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

I was hand-picked by the management team to achieve world-class safety performance, eliminate / reduce risks to an acceptable level, and create and maintain a safety culture embraced by all levels of employees during hyper growth time period. I played a lead role in designing, developing, implementing, executing, and tracking environmental, health, safety, and security procedures across the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. I provided hands-on leadership and support to the safety professionals to ensure seamless execution of safety programs and position multiple sites as the safest in the industry.I managed a team of seven direct and 73 indirect reports, assessed performance, identified skill gaps, evaluated training needs, and conducted training sessions to improve productivity and efficiency. I designed and implemented KPIs to track performance and effectiveness of safety policies and procedures as well as reduce injuries and accidents.Highlights of accomplishment include:• I facilitated company growth from $500 million to $3 billion by driving innovation in safety programs, quantifying safety culture, and instituting a safety and risk management information systems.• I matured the safety culture by implementing change management initiatives, developing technologies, and streamlining the communication of safety information and programs across the nation.• I spearheaded the management and successful execution of a project to migrate EHS system from paper-driven to one of the most fully integrated EHS Safety Management (SMS) and Risk Management Systems (RMIS). • I positioned the organization as the third-largest EPC Solar Contractor in the nation by developing and executing the Solar EHS program.• I established and implemented a telemedical practice of JobSiteCare focused on remote workers, which provided access to emergency medical care; reduced Work Comp costs by 80% & OSHA recordables by 70%, boosted employee satisfaction, by improving quality of care.

In this role, I directed overall environment, health, and safety operations and compliance for the Florida office, ensuring maximum compliance with regulations and policies to support smooth flow of work. I helped management team in executing corporate training initiatives to enhance safety awareness.Highlights of accomplishment in this role include:• I identified enhancement opportunities in electrical-safe work practices on medium voltage equipment as well as co-developed medium voltage (4160 VAC) Electrical Safe Work Practices and Procedures.• I designed and executed robust safety and risk management programs, while serving as a member of the senior leadership team.

In this role, I played an integral role in envisioning, developing, and executing a safety and risk management program for a regional air ambulance service (FAA Part 135) headquartered in Wichita, KS. I nurtured a culture to encourage team members to raise issues. Supervised 20 base safety managers, prepared schedules, assigned duties and targets, identified underperforming individuals, and created and maintained a productive working environment to retain top talent. I implemented Night Vision Goggle Program. I equipped all aircraft (fixed and rotor) with TAWS / HTAWS. Developed and executed FAA SMS Program and Recognition.Highlights of accomplishment in these roles include:• I induced harmony among three primary groups of medical crews, pilots, and mechanics within a chaotic and challenging working environment by sharing best practice, encouraging teamwork, and developing strong relationships. • I regained CAMTS Accreditation and received an award for delivering best-in-class “Just Culture Program”; created an open and safe environment for reporting and excursions from the safety policies and procedures.

I developed implemented safety culture for the start-up company, while overseeing four direct reports.Highlights of accomplishment in these roles include:• I designed and developed an AED program for all construction sites; program was recognized by ENR Magazine. • I worked with Ops, Miami Dade County, Florida Marlins, and the FAA for airspace approval at the Miami Marlins Ballpark,• I acted as EHS Liaison with Florida Power & Light (FPL) to develop startup safety / lockout procedures for two solar projects.• I received nine Florida Sunshine (Safety) Awards as well as five Liberty Mutual Gold Awards and multiple ABC National Safety Excellence Awards.

Managed safety program for all aviation & transportation projects across US at America's #2 construction firm generating $9B in projects / year. Operated in heavily-strategic capacity: planning, designing EHS programs; managed multimillion dollar budgets.• Created, executed safety, security, fire & loss prevention programs.• Carried out incident investigations; managed safety / environmental training of national staff.• Developed lockout / tagout, commissioning standards for Miami International Airport.• Worked as EHS liaison upgrading airport security at all 438 airports across US after September 11, 2001.
