Scott is reponsible for all marketing and business development for the comany with the focus of identifying and developing business opportunities within the federal and state government healthcare space.

Lead a team of individuals focusing on business development with primary responsibility of increasing revenue through the identification of new opportunities within the Federal health sector, specifically within the Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Lead a team of six employees targeting the company’s strategic business growth objectives. This included business development, capture, proposal development, and marketing activities. Objectives included identifying new opportunities to pursue as well as identifying and recruiting potential new business partners that brought a complementary relationship to proposal efforts. Responsibilities also included promoting the image of the company through marketing efforts.

Member of the Board of Directors and the Corporate Advisory Team responsible for corporate planning, business development, and direct marketing. This included developing campaigns and projects geared for the healthcare industry including, concept and strategy development, planning, and implementation. In charge of business development, capture and proposal efforts for the organization. Primary focus to identify and introduce potential business partners that would bring complementary and synergistic solutions that would be beneficial to the healthcare community and Strategic.

As part of Lumetra’s Senior Management Team led the overall business development activities for both organizations focusing on Lumetra’s Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) programs and IntegriGuard’s Program Integrity (PI) programs. Responsible for strategic business plans and identifying potential business opportunities that expand the revenue base for both entities. Helped grow IntegriGuard, Lumetra’s subsidiary startup, to $25 million in annual revenues over a three-year period.

Overall business development responsibilities for CMS and the Social Security Administration (SSA). Identified potential business opportunities that expanded the revenue base for the organization. Primary responsibility of marketing the PSC IDIQ, predecessor to the Zone Program Integrity Contract (ZPIC) and the Unified Program Integrity Contract (UPIC) IDIQs, and the pursuit of business opportunities at the SSA.

Overall account management responsibilities that included GSA, SSA, and DHHS/HCFA. Developed the necessary support infrastructure to build the company’s direct end user-based sales revenue for the organization’s GSA IT multiple award contract and schedule of services.

Led directed account management efforts for key government prime contracts Account management responsibilities included the United States Army Information Systems Command, Pentagon, VA.; the United States Navy Stock Point Logistics Inventory Control Environment Contract, Crystal City, VA.; and the DHHS’ HCFA Data Center, Baltimore, MD. Duties included supporting and upgrading the installed account base.
