My role in Enterprise Architecture is to work as part of the EA function to lead, develop and govern ARM’s IT architecture including the domains of business, information, applications, integration and infrastructure.Strategise• Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements. • Analyse technology, industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise. • Understand, advocate and support the enterprise's information technology strategies.Architect:• Analyse the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement. • Lead on the development of sections of the EA framework (business, information, applications, infrastructure)• Undertake specific architecture design and analysis work to contribute to our EA Framework

As the IT Director for Technology and Solutions I am the senior accountable leader for providing the technical expertise into all our programmes and projects and to ensure quality transition into serviceThis role includes responsibility for developing and leading a team of high quality Solution Architects, development teams with resources (permanent, contract and third party), across multiple skill sets (web, ERP, open source).Ensuring the current and future technical expertise is available to enable successful delivery and transition into service. The role will works closely with the Enterprise Architecture team, to ensure alignment with our architectural strategy and guidelines. Also work closely with the IT Commercial Team and Procurement to provision third parties to provide services of the highest standard; and the Service Operations team to ensure transition into service.A highly motivated, proactive, technical leader with experience leading within a cross functional team structure. I work closely with portfolio, programme and project managers, business analysts and test managers. Director for Enterprise Systems as well as being the SAP Architect & Service Owner for ARM, where I have been for the last 5 years. I am leading the direction of enterprise systems including SAP within ARM, managing a global team.

Responsible for the SAP strategy and roadmap for ARM.Budget management and control for the SAP run and change activities globally.Design templates and guided procedures for core business processes.Ensuring we are able to meet the business as usual activities and enhance the technology to meet the changing needs of the business.Advise best practice and industry standards where appropriate.Line manager and technical lead.
