Field Software Engineer - Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) Charged with providing DCGS-A v3.2.4.4 support to units at Ft. Bragg, NC. Responsible for hardware setup, configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows virtual servers managed with VMware vSphere, installing software updates, configuring the domain controller and active directory, troubleshooting and assisting the soldiers as needed.

Charged with the design of the Navy’s Mission Package Portable Control System (MPPCS–4). Worked directly with the subcontractor during fabrication of the container and the production team during assembly updating drawings, parts lists and test procedures. Served as lead engineer on the Common Mission Package Trainer (CMPT). Responsible for the design, developing drawings and parts lists, and resolving issues during production of the system.

Senior Engineer / Production Manager (2007 – Present)Charged with coordinating the design effort with subcontractors, evaluating drawings, developing test procedures, managing logistics and supervising the production of the Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) Analysis and Control Element (ACE) systems with SCI and Collateral networks. Directed the daily operations of the production team during construction of the tactical intelligence systems and the refurbishment and upgrades after combat deployment.Engineer (2001-2007)Served as lead engineer on field upgrades of the Army’s Communication Control Set (CCS) systems. Developed Modification Work Order (MWO) test procedures and supervised the application and testing of the MWO on the CCS. Served as lead engineer designing the next generation CCS.Associate Engineer (1996-2001)Constructed Communication Network Servers (CNS) and Contingency Workstations (CWS) during the Single Source Processor – Product Improvement Program. Trained the Army’s New Equipment Training Team (NETT) on Communication Support Processor (CSP) software and communications during the All Source Analysis System (ASAS) communications upgrade program.

Served as a Field Artillery Officer responsible for daily operations and maintenance of an 8” Howitzer Battery. Also, served as a Special Weapons Officer responsible for tactical and technical special weapons support for a Greek Artillery Battalion.
