Serve as a liaison concerning budget and financial management matters, human resources, and administrative support between the Federal Security Director (FSD) and the Transportation Security Administration Headquarters. Assist in planning, directing, evaluating and integrating budget, financial activities, human resources and administrative support within the airport environment. Serve as a source of information for the FSD and the Administrative Officer (AO) on budget, human resources, time and attendance, leave, and /or pay as it relates to the entire organization of three hundred plus employees. Provide training on Time and Labor Reports, Statement of Earnings and Leave, HR Reports, Overtime Reports, Leave Reports, and Payroll Reports. Research, analyze, audit and interpret administrative, budget, and financial reports. Coordinate issues with the AO and the Human Resources Office on a daily basis. Advise supervisors of unusual requirements and make recommendations on those matters.

Successfully supervised 35 people in all facets of accounting and finance matters. Performed as an Agent to the U.S. Treasury and an Agent to the Federal Reserve Bank for all matters involving payments and collections. Was held pecuniary liable for all disbursements and collections. Supervised the program for cash transactions in excess of $300,000 daily and an average monthly amount of $10 - $12 million. Dispatched agents to countries such as Zaire, Haiti, Africa, and Saudi Arabia with large amounts of cash, with no loss of funds. Served as Project Manager for a successful consolidation to the Omaha operating location. Received one performance ward for outstanding contribution to the mission.

Directed a staff of 70, to include Drs, PAs, RNs, LPNs, Human Resources, test proctors, physical testing, logistics, uniform personnel, and security personnel. Staff members accomplish the initial screening, evaluations, and assessments for candidates interested in becoming federal employees to work as airport security personnel, checking baggage and passengers at the front ticket counters, security check points, gates and baggage handling areas. Coordinate between command center and the Federal Security Directors office to ensure a smooth flow of daily candidates and to work all issues related to the center. Processed up to 100 candidates per day, seven days a week, twelve to fourteen hours per day.
