• Investigated components in induction power modules by developing experiments to assist with understanding before modules are redesigned• Optimized X-Ray scanner signal noise by redesigning how the system was powered and grounded• Developed user interface software with Visual Basics and Excel for power modules. This software was then released to sites throughout the world ahead of schedule • Investigated and optimized wireless transmission of scanner data by experimenting with wireless protocols and hardware• Worked with Altium to design a small PCB used to power a scanner sensor module

• Designed integration of parallel finger gripper into “six degree of freedom” robotic manipulator arm• Developed programs using C++ and ROS (Robotics Operating System) to allow robotic gripper to interface with existing software• Completed documentation and specifications for autonomous mobile robot arm to include the addition of gripper into forward and reverse kinematic motion calculations• Worked closely with PhD Candidates researching autonomous robotic motion planning and algorithms
