Supervise the accounting functions and the employees in the finance office. Develop, achieve and maintain an accurate accounting and internal control system for all funds, assist in the preparation of the annual budget as well as the 5-year projections. Coordinate all of the financial areas, assume responsibility for account and financial record keeping to assure compliance with federal, state, and district policies and requirements. Plan, organize and maintain the accounting operations of the district and train, supervise, and direct all individuals in positions which impact the accounting function to assure an effective and efficient Finance and Operations Department for the Kirkwood School District.
