IBD-K –Integrated Base Defense Systems• Business Development for the Horn of Africa, Deputy Program Manager for IBD-K Systems (Perimeter Security, Entry Control and Access). As the corporate face forward I Managed and supervised 9 OCONUS employees in 4 countries within the HOA Arena; Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti and Yemen.• Based out of Djibouti, I spent the majority of my time on the road visiting supported bases meeting with Security Force Leaders, FOB Mayors and Garrison Commanders to make sure the customer is happy. • Attended the Force Protection Working Group meetings to better understand the operating environment, monitor the concerns of my programs equipment as well as identify future gaps and potential business development strategies. • Ensuring the readiness of the programs systems and check on the health and welfare of company employees. Allocating resources, assessing risk and threats; contribute to coordinating with the various entities that contribute to the project; which ensures that taskers and the mission are being delivered on time and met.• Managed Sub-contractor performing Site Installation and support to assigned locations.• Developed long range service schedule as well as scheduled and coordinated all site visits with the Government Representatives for Technicians to perform services• Coordinated with CJTF HOA, SOCCE and US Navy’s Force Protection Offices (FPO) and the Units receiving IBD capabilities requested by the government. • Site prep / Installation, enabling an on time scheduled Fielding of the systems for Force Protection.• Trained and mentored Field Service Tech on the installation, service and repair of Operator Stations, Server racks and ECP equipment consisting of Axis IPCCTV cams, Pelco PTZ cams, Axis/FLIR LRTI cameras, Nasatka Vehicle Barriers, Pedestrian Turnstiles and Walk through metal detection systems all fully integrated within the JACCS OS Platform.

Perform vehicle electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem solving on DOD Systems in Afghanistan in complex, high pressure field conditions. Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to perform fault isolation of electronic circuits and electromechanical sub-assemblies. Travel to DOD sites and respond to calls for corrective maintenance, scheduled maintenance, and systems upkeep. Conduct system operator training for DOD personnel. *Directing day-to-day maintenance functions and personnel, including scheduling of labor to meet plant and equipment requirements, and assigning responsibilities. *Served as key Project Manager for the Mine Roller and Entrance Control Points in Afghanistan. * Assembled and tested experimental motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids and other electrical equipment according to knowledge of electrical principles. * Replaced hydraulic lines, electrical motors, rebuild hydraulic motors and pneumatic systems, pumps/motors, mechanical drivers, gears, couplings, valves, etc. * Supervises 21 personnel on equipment integration, installation, training, testing, assessment, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support military operations in Afghanistan on SPARK II Mine Rollers in five different maintenance locations in Afghanistan. * Fielded, installed, and trained military units on various entry control point equipment, including electro-hydraulic barriers, long-range acoustical devices, and mobile explosive trace detection systems.. * Installed and trained military units on the operation of the equipment, turnstile gates, rapid deployable armored guard post, and walk through metal detection systems in Afghanistan. * Analyzed the maintenance needs of the units to develop a minimum stock age of critical maintenance parts while deployed in a combat zone. * Coordinated schedules for repairs, site installations and travel between sites via air and convoy.

And 91H (Track Wheel Mechanic) * Repaired and replaced engines, power train, fuel and hydraulic systems. * Conducted detailed checks of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems and accessories; utilized technical manuals, schematic diagrams, multi-meter and other special tools to perform diagnostics. * Performed a broad range of repair and maintenance activities, performed 10/20/30 level maintenance, diagnosed mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment failure and issues, and conducted extensive repair or replacement of worn or damaged components on various light / heavy military vehicles and power generation equipment. * Served at all levels of responsibility and facets of maintenance management from Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Shop Forman, Motor Sergeant levels. *Maintained all electrical and mechanical components for an entire firing Battalion. *Responsible for all Op. level and Depot level maintenance to Missile and its sub- components (Radar, warhead, guidance and control, first and second stage motors, Erector launcher, 30 kw generator sets and 10 ton Hydraulic crane.) *Repaired and maintained heavy wheeled route clearance vehicles (i.e. Husky, Buffalo, MRAPS and RG-31's) *Operation and maintenance of Crew serve (Duke, Gyro-cam and Crows II and Blue Force Tracking) systems *Primary instructor for entry technicians and Officers at the Field Artillery School. *Supervised a team of twenty in the maintenance and repair of training missiles.
