For 30 years, I have worked toward the advancement of neighborhoods, communities and municipalities through nonprofit organizations, especially through the local church. I understand the complexities of leading a volunteer-intensive organization and have successfully equipped and empowered leaders to make a positive impact on the world. I have spearheaded projects to mobilize volunteers in education, in global disaster relief, food and water distribution, micro-industry, and more. I have a wide variety of experience, from inner-city work in New Orleans, entrepreneurial start-ups in the Intermountain West, and establishing and leading educational networks for a seminary.My educational emphasis was in organizational leadership. I regularly teach as adjunct faculty at William Carey University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.More recently, I have entered the arena of sharing my experience, knowledge, and skills through contract coaching and culture development in varied organizations, both corporate and nonprofit.
