Supported the Space Surveillance Network Requirements Identification Project by developing methods of characterizing orbital position and velocity error growth as a function of time and identify patterns for organizing satellite orbits into geometrically similar groups based upon error growth rates. Responsible for collecting and organizing orbital data provided through agency websites, writing algorithms and procedures using MATLAB and Excel to collate data into discrete time histories for further analysis, organize and analyze metrics in support of other projects

Successfully lead the design and development of a space sling laboratory test unit. The effort included concept generation and evaluation, selection of materials and components, gear selection, shaft design, software design and implementation, custom sensor design and integration. Responsible for purchasing, delegating tasks, design review, reviewing the work of co-workers for quality and accuracy, and mentoring on good practice, problem solving techniques, and school work. - Designed and integrated a balanced, minimal interference, dual axis angle sensor for measuring cable oscillations in real time.- Guided the development of a feedback control system using LabView.- Developed sensor calibration procedures and methods.- Presented at the 2008 Space Grant Symposium in Boulder
