Responsible for all chemistry aspects associated with a steroid-based antibody drug conjugate. This included medicinal chemistry SAR, process chemistry optimization of synthetic routes, and analytical assay development. Developed highly optimized synthetic routes to protected sugar linkers between antibody and steroid drug. Outsourced large scale synthesis of sugar intermediates after developing the optimized routes in-house. Managed all outsourced chemistry including non-cGMP and cGMP steps for the production of antibody drug conjugate linker and drug moieties.

Central nervous system (CNS) small molecule medicinal chemistry. Invented Benzoimidazol-1,2-yl amides as Kv7 Channel activators for epilepsy indication.

Designed, synthesized, purified and characterized small molecules to be used as potential human therapeutics. Performed research as a medicinal chemist working in the therapeutical areas of neuroscience, oncology, and anti-inflammatory. Worked with preclinical teams to balance the interpretation of SAR data with ADME properties.
