Added 11 shifts of crews to the filling lines during this same time period due to additional volume of the plant; all crews hired, trained and certified prior to the plant’s timeline commitment to corporate.

Selected by General Officer as Operational Test and Evaluation Center’s #1 choice for promotion to Major.• Enhanced team leadership skills and improved customer service – I served as the Officer in Charge, Passenger Services and Chief, Plans and Readiness (June 1995-Aug 1999) leading a 39-person team managing the air passenger terminal supporting movement of 30,000 passengers on 5,800 airlift missions, planned and executed support for 2,000 distinguished visitors, during a $1.8 million facilities upgrade program. Developed improved customer service focus despite a 30 percent reduction in staff; receiving “Highest” customer satisfaction ratings in the Pacific Theater for 4 consecutive months and twice “Best” in command, leading to my selection as the City of Anchorage Federal Employee of the Year for 1997.• As the Executive Officer / Director of Maintenance at Griffiss Air Force Base (May 1991–May 1995) – Personally selected as the Executive Officer to the Support Group Commander, composing the Griffiss AFB Strategic Plan for Base Closure. I led the base preparation for the Air Force Nuclear Surety Inspection that resulted in an “Outstanding” rating and the inspection team lauded as the “Best” seen to date. For these results I chosen by the Inspection team as a Superior Performer. I then led a 273-person team maintaining B-52 aircraft that increased Mission Capable rate to 82.9% and scheduling effectiveness to 92.7%; both the “Highest” ever recorded at Griffiss AFB. Selected over 225 peers as the Base Company Grade Officer of Year.
