I co-led the establishment of Fibon Finance, a pure PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) fund provider, created to deploy capital raised from Westbrooke Asset Management for solar and battery storage projects. My responsibilities spanned across multiple areas, including:- Developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, branding, and marketing initiatives.- Building and managing a cross-functional team to ensure efficient operations and deployment.- Collaborating with legal, finance, and marketing teams to source new clients and secure investment opportunities.Since inception, the fund has built a pipeline of over R250m in projects and aims to deploy more than R850m in capital for PPA-funded renewable energy solutions.

Handling a select range of strategic partners for SolarAfricaTaking projects leads from 500kWp up to 30MWp. This involves end to end management of the client, building cash flow and investment models, assessing compliance, health and safety, engineering and commercial aspects related to the deal. Deals include:- PPA (consumption and take-or-pay) - Outright purchases - Lease - Equity partnerships - Wheeling Focus recently is on utility scale Wheeling projects and sourcing clients for our farms of 100MWp to 1GWp and associated deal structuring.
