Served on commercial and multifamily loan origination team providing real estate financing solutions from a comprehensive array of lending programs including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life insurance companies, debt funds, banks, and CMBS lenders.

Led Lyon Communities’ debt and asset management initiatives across its 40 apartment community portfolio, comprised of over 8,200 apartment homes throughout California, Colorado, Georgia, and Florida. Coordinated $300 million in permanent financing (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Life Insurance Company), construction loans, land acquisition/development loans and lines of credit for Lyon’s apartment and office properties. Managed leasing of Lyon’s commercial office and mixed-use retail space and managed ongoing relationship with Lyon’s equity partners and lenders on retail and office improvement projects.

Managed commercial real estate acquisitions and renovation projects for the $100 million TNP/SLI Green Building Fund, which invested in value-add commercial and industrial assets to be repositioned as LEED certified properties. Project managed the $13.5 million renovation of the 11-story 302 East Carson Avenue office building in downtown Las Vegas, the first LEED Gold retrofit in the state of Nevada. Managed ongoing relationship with the Fund’s equity partners, construction lenders, and general contractors.

Managed commercial real estate acquisitions for the Healthcare REIT and 1031 Tenant-in-Common investment platforms, analyzing office, industrial, retail, and healthcare properties throughout the United States. Responsible for 9 real estate acquisitions in 7 states, totaling $160 million and 15 closings totaling $375 million. Negotiated purchase and sale agreements, coordinated permanent financing and performed market research, financial analysis, and due diligence for each acquisition.

Analyzed feasibility of new single-family, condominium, and mixed-use communities, working in conjunction with Acquisition Managers on title analyses, site planning, underwriting, due diligence, and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements. Performed profitability and competitive analysis for Toll Brothers’ active and planned developments. Assisted in the valuation of public and private development companies for potential acquisition. Completed Project Manager Development Program.
