As a recruitment consultant, I specialize in connecting organizations with the right candidates for their job vacancies. My role involves understanding the unique needs of clients, sourcing potential candidates through various channels, conducting interviews and assessments, and ensuring a smooth hiring process. I also handle offer negotiations and stay current with industry trends and legal standards to provide valuable guidance to both clients and candidates. Building and nurturing relationships is at the heart of what I do, helping to create successful matches in the job market.

This was a vehicle sales role. A day would be very structured and consist of a morning meeting in which we would discuss any potential leads we currently had, if a morning meeting wasn’t available then I would still routinely evaluate my list of leads and make a list of jobs that needed to be done for the day. Although this was predominantly a face-to-face sales role, we would be targeted to make 30-50 positive phone calls (these calls would be recorded and reviewed by our training manager and then feed back would be given to us weekly, on how to over come objections and better soft closes). We would then review our customer databases and identify potential leads for cold calling. We would also be in charge of cleaning, the forecourt, pricing and rearranging the cars. I did my SAF accreditation and We were regulated by the FCA and as such had to be meticulous with our compliance paperwork and GDPR practices. The job was target based and as such we had to sell a certain number of cars and finance products to which I regularly exceeded.

Dual role as customers point of contact, for clothing sales and stocking the clothing dealing with sales reps, product knowledge and training as well as running the service department I.e. booking in services, dealing with warranty claims, time management for the workshop and allocating jobs to the technicians along with minor diagnosis of motorcycles and helping in the workshop when required. Job creation and invoices on operating systems (such as Kerridge and Pinnacle) with money exchanging and making sure the workshop was supplied with everything they needed, and parts required. I also assisted the bike sales team by looking after customers when they were tied up, organising test rides and even selling them a bike until I passed it on to one of the sales team to process the FCA part.

My main responsibilities included making sure the bar was running smoothly, deal with any incidents, order stock and clean. I also had to interact with the customers which I really enjoyed. I had to manage a team of 15 people and when the manager was off it was my responsibility to run the club.
