He has educated many on how to incorporate high-quality, commercial cooking action stations in non-traditional locations, taking essentially dead spaces and creating new pockets of revenue. Since Scott joined Middleby through the acquisition of Evo, he has been working with FSCI designers and operators on a variety of ventless action stations across all of the Middleby brands.Bluezone air purification (www.bluezone.com) is another new product category that Scott is working on with an extended international Middleby team. Bluezone actively scrubs potentially contaminated indoor air and kills molds, bacteria and the COVID virus. This revolutionary product will add layers of protection to indoor spaces and has been installed at the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) campus locations.Prior to Middleby and Evo America, he started a consumer packaged goods company, Dry, Incorporated in 1999. After 12 years of operations (over $70 million of Woolite by Dry Cleaner's Secret sold) the team successfully sold the company.
