My role as general manager of the Ball Court Hotel included effective stock control, managing labour costs, developing promotions to generate new revenue streams, weekly ordering and generating financial reporting for company directors. I am responsible for the stock control database to be managed and maintained, website content management, social media campaigns and regulatory compliance. I am in overall control of multiple departments including a busy drive through bottle shop, a TAB, a sports bar, multiple outdoor beer gardens, function spaces and a kitchen to provide meals to these areas. In conjuction with business owners, I oversaw the renovation of the whole venue.

My roles at Kealba include rostering and overseeing a 260 seat bistro with a goal towards staff training and excellent customer service. I wa responsible for kitchen stock invoicing through the H & L POS systems and work alongside the Head Chef with weekly stocktaking. I also maintained three different bars with continual updates towards POS setups/par levels and effective stock control systems. Other management duties include nightly and weekly till balancing, cash control, TAB auditing compliance, back of house gaming operations, promotions and marketing and customer conflict resolutions.

Through my role at the Olive Tree, I was asked by the owners to relocate to Gladstone Park to help the management team run the venue. My responsibilities including staff management and leadership, gaming reconciliation, bistro management, motel operations and stock control.
