The overall purpose of my role is to contribute to the retention and development of profitable business with a portfolio of clients. Working as part of the wider commercial team I assume responsibility for co-ordinating project service delivery and budget management, managing day to day relationships and delivering client satisfaction.

Working across channels and multiple routes to market, I focused on driving business within trade accounts, including a variety of consumer-based resellers and retailers ranging from small independent businesses, to well-known reputable high-street brands. Some of my main duties involved: • Building on business acumen by researching industry news, themes and events to ensure major events are built into events programme• Building effective and long lasting relationships with industry contacts; internal colleagues; partners and direct customers • Planning, creating and implementing an events programme to support and drive business objectives• Project managing and launching events within the programme from start to finish - ensuring all events are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner to the highest standards• Negotiating with venues on pricing, space, and the promotion of Allsorted throughout the event• Liaising with Marketing Manger to build events programme into general marketing plans, ensuring marketing plans for up and coming events adhere to brand guidelines• Drawing up general footprints, designs, signage and collateral for events that adhere to brand guidelines• Providing Key Account Managers with a suite of materials to help drive attendance from targeted contacts list (including messaging, email templates, information on logistics etc.)• Measuring KPIs post event: measuring levels of interest in specific product lines; tracking leads generated vs leads qualified and contribution to pipeline; gathering feedback from colleagues and attendees on the event, to consider in future.
