Supports Internal Communication, Philanthropy, and Engagement functions as a member of the Corporate Culture team. Responsibilities include managing the majority of internal communication channels, managing the daily operations of our philanthropic programs, and develop new and enhance existing strategies and direction of internal communications, philanthropy, and culture workforce branding.Major Job Functions- Manage the daily internal communications needs of the company by serving as a communications advisor to the business and then developing and distributing communications to support its needs including intranet posts, weekly email blasts, blog posts, partnering with designer to develop content for digital signage, and more as required. In addition, serve as the editor of the company's employee blog- Manage HCA's philanthropic programs and operations, including the day-to-day handling of HCA's philanthropic programs, organizing HCA's annual philanthropic event, and cultivating relationships with non-profit partners. In addition, further develop our philanthropic strategies and long-term initiatives- Support the Corporate Culture Team's effort to drive employee satisfaction and engagement by contributing to strategy and development meetings, and assisting with the events/programs as needed- Support the Corporate Culture Team with various ad-hoc communication needs including developing monthly reports to global headquarters and assisting with video shoots, etc. as needed

Support the Internal Communication & Employee Engagement functions of the Corporate Culture team by developing communications plans, writing and editing internal communications, and managing regular employee email and intranet communications, and manage the media and community relations duties related to HCA's community giving fund while developing a community relations strategy.Major Job Functions- Support programs and initiatives by developing communication/internal marketing plans, and writing, editing, and distributing the communications that support those efforts- Collaborate with the team designer to develop supporting communications materials that are within HCA brand guidelines- Lead and manage weekly location-specific emails- Serve as lead writer for HCA newsletter and employee profiles, while providing additional support for email distribution and posting content to the company's intranet- Support the communication needs of the Corporate Culture team by preparing presentations, assisting with video shoots etc. as needed- Responsible for media and community relations related to HCA's Community Pride Fund, including the development of public relations plans designed to raise greater awareness of HCA and the fund- Act as the internal contact for the Community Pride Fund and be responsible for managing grant applications from employees, and facilitating an expanded community presence for all major offices- Advise in the planning of volunteer events to help generate and maximize positive exposure for the Community Pride Fund and build additional volunteer opportunities for employees- Develop and grow HCA's culture of giving with additions to existing philanthropy programs

Worked on the Corporate Relations team under Corporate Marketing leadership to execute Experian's community involvement and corporate responsibility programs. While in this position I managed the work load and new initiatives directed by our Corporate Relations team and to coordinate specific functions for community relations, public education, and corporate relations programs for North America and in support of our global initiatives. Major Job Functions: - Assisted in coordinating Corporate Responsibility initiatives for Experian NA, including collection of data, drafting reports, and communicating results. Create lesson plans and instruct students to learn and practically apply advanced analytical written and oral communication skills though 8 hour weekend sessions and online teaching tools for additional assistance.Administer and grade assignments in a timely fashion and work with students to meet course objectives and work with administration, providing feedback for continued improvement of course and school.
