I started in the construction industry during high school working for Pratt Homes as a finish carpenter. This hands on work taught me a lot about the details that go into building a home. After graduating from UW-Stout, I earned a position at Ryland Homes in the purchasing department. This position taught me the office side of the construction industry with planning, bidding, pricing, selection process, etc. This job opened the door to other opportunities at Argus Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Homes by Tradition, Hanson Builders and eventually my current position at Lennar. Before Hanson, I worked at a millwork supply company learning the subcontractor side of the construction industry. Being the purchasing manager at a strong builder in the Twin Cities has been a goal of mine that is now reality. Eventually, I would like to open my own home building company within the log home industry. Work is one thing, but family, friends and my wife are what make everything worth while.
