My role spans Brand, Product and Experience design - as well as Team Enablement. What this means in practice is I help brands uncover user needs, through insight, turn those into opportunities, and then discover how we can leverage those opportunities to create something people really want in their lives. New or refreshed brands, products, or experiences.I've worked across a lot of industries since starting here in 2019. From Whisky and Gin, Social Services, Childrens' Books, Banking, Insurance, Charities, Membership Organisations and many more. What I do is: - Discovery - researching the market landscape, spotting trends in the market and user behaviour, competitor analysis, interviews, surveys and more!- Imagine - mapping the future, exploring rapidly sketched ideas, mashing-up great ideas. finding inspiration from the world- Create - leading the design and build of rapid prototypes, creating user journeys, leading design toolkit creation, creating design, experience and content principles- Further - creating product roadmaps, defining acquisition and growth strategies, identifying growth hacks, supporting design and development teams through implementation

I was part of the senior team in a very exciting time at M&G Prudential - where they were going through a huge Digital and Cultural Transformation. I feel privileged to have been part of such a great opportunity for growth - for teams, and for the company.In practice, I led of team of 10 people responsible for shaping product and experience strategy and design.

I joined Aviva as they transitioned from traditional Waterfall methodologies, to Agile. I was a System Engineer at Airbus, which covered everything from Requirements Analysis, Design, Integration, Build to 3rd Party Relationship Management. The work I was involved in was as the Lead Integrator for very large national projects - spanning the UK and emerging markets.I worked on the FiReControl project for 2 years, bid work for developing countries, and baseline methods and architectures between projects.• Developed the Cassidian Architecture Development Methodology, a process detailing the toolbox, tools and processes used to initiate a bid and how to follow that through to delivery. • Acted as the System Design Authority for a major System component within a large-scale Critical National Infrastructure project worth £300m• Delivered Information System Architectures, identifying Systems, Components and their related Interfaces• Designed business and IT solutions for Station End Mobilisation systems utilising Telelogic System Architect and Sparx Enterprise Architect as documentation, and modelling tools• Managed customer requirements, from high-level to component level requirements utilising Telelogic DOORs• Created Use-Cases, Sequence Diagrams, Component Diagrams and Logical Design Views using MS Visio, Telelogic System Architect, Rational Rose and MEGA toolsets• Contributed to the generation of various Statement Of Work documents, towards the subcontractors on the System and software engineering aspects.• Managed technical meetings and communication with subcontractors• Managed the generation of Interface Control Documents between the Software Sub-Systems, other Sub-Systems and external systems• Worked with the Service Management team to identify what, how and where to deploy Tivoli Enterprise Management Toolset agents to hardware• Presented in System and SubSystem Requirement and Design Reviews to major stakeholders, the Engineering board and external bodies

We created software and hardware solutions for the farming industry - specifically, for the capture and management of livestock movements. I was responsible for ensuring we have a clear roadmap of features that delivered value to the user, and working closely with the creative and development teams to make this a reality.

As a team, we delivered multiple software, and hardware products to users. Spanning across domains such as 3D Visualisation, Room Bookings, Travel Timetables, Energy Consumption Monitoring, Electronics and Farming. Specifically I,Performed the role of Product Manager for various projects, including a livestock management integration project, worth £7m within an Agile Rapid Application Development environment• Collaborated with the software development team through life-cycles, to ensure alignment to vision and design • Led the Business Analyst team, overseeing the production of business solutions and designs; whilst providing tutoring and guidance• Created wireframes and user journeys, to test hypotheses with users, and create specifications for developers to work from• Attended international trade show stands to develop business leads and create industry awareness• Reverse Engineered existing application architectures into UML models for re-engineering into .NET frameworks

I managed and maintained the IT estate across CEH Bangor, hardware and software. Largely, spending time with users to understand their needs, and working with other sites to deliver solutions that worked locally, but also aligned to global strategy. • Implemented technical solutions using Novell, Unix, Windows and Sun Solaris to meet organizational requirements• Provided support for deployed solutions• Supported, managed and extended the internal network of CEH Bangor’s estate• Implemented software solutions for various bespoke projects, using .NET and Oracle to meet project needs• Provided consultancy on the implementation of networking and infrastructure deployment to a new site for CEH Bangor• Supported various bespoke technologies, applications and technical equipment – on site at Bangor and in the field at varied locations

I provided first-line business and technical support to our clients, who were e-commerce businesses what needed an online payment solution. Given when I started with Secure Trading, this was a very exciting time to be involved with some of the very first companies to switch to online trading.• Provided integration support for clients’ technical development teams, guiding developers on how to implement Secure Trading’s payment platform into their existing environment, including code review and testing• Analysed clients technical capabilities to propose the best solution from Secure Trading’s offering, giving continued support through inception to roll-out• Monitored and managed the payment service production environment for live defects, outages, service faults• Created induction packs for support teams, to enable rapid deployment of support staff• Led the support of the technical roll-out for the Disasters Emergency Committee, during the Boxing Day Tsunami appeal
