I manage specialist touring product for Asia, including the Indian Subcontinent for Hays Tour Operations. Key to this role is managing supplier relationships, negotiating best rates for extended touring product in line with the product strategy, determined by market trends, data and competitor analysis. It is my responsibility to provide offers for marketing and brochures, providing copy and pricing within agreed deadlines and ensuring that the sales team are aware of all product and to provide destination training for my regions.

Starting on the sales floor I soon progressed to the specialist sales team where I was responsible for all aspects of the booking from initial inquiry, through all amendments until travel, including any customer service issues and when required servicing in-resort issues.After six years in sales I was successful in my application for a new position within the company as Operations Product Executive. This role was a hybrid role that encompassed aspects of Operations, Product and project coordination. Looking at ways to improve departmental processes, managing supplier relationships, especially in relation to service or client issues, ensuring accuracy in our systems data loading and acting as the key stakeholder for our department in delivering major upgrades to our booking engine.In my last four years I took on a more traditional product and commercial role developing a product strategy for Asia and Africa along with our supplier partners, updating our product range in line with market trends and overseeing production of our extensive brochure range for my regions.
