I have worked in the chemical industry for over 40 years. The Hunter Family has a long history of innovation and we are very proud of our Grandfather Len Hunter snr who Pioneered one of the first conventional Disinfectants in “ Pine o Clean “. After completing my education, I joined my brothers David, John,Michael ,Wayne and Greg Holmes in the formation of Big H Chemicals in Dec 1979. I started out as a Production Assistant under the tutelage of my Brother Michael who now owns Bracton Chemicals .I then progressed to Production Manager and this role enabled me to gain a broad understanding of chemicals and the safety implications of using them properly across different applications. I eventually found my way into Sales and when Jasol Australia took over the Big H Chemical company I was their Victorian Sales Manager .After completing my time with Jasol Australia ,David, John ,Wayne and I formed Hunter Industrials in 1998.Innovation is in the blood and I played a significant role in the development of our Huntersafe program designed to reduce the burden for clients and provide genuine support with WH&S compliance. More recently, I have worked with our fantastic team to develop our Huntergreen program which enables organisations to align their cleaning programs with sustainability goals. Adding genuine value and providing much needed education and support is a strength of mine and the team at Hunter Industrials .
