Scott Hutton has been the CRTC’s Executive Director – Broadcasting since 2006. In that capacity Scott heads a staff of 75 dedicated professionals dealing with matters relating to Broadcasting. As a member of the CRTC’s senior executive team, he participates in the decision making on corporate operational and policy matters.Scott has been with the CRTC since 1991. Prior to his current post, he worked in various executive roles within the CRTC’s Telecommunications Branch.Scott holds an Honour’s bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa.He has been involved with various community organizations. He is the CRTC’s Official Languages Champion and was the CRTC’s leader for the 2012 United Way charitable campaign.
