As a communications evaluation intern I worked with the Wales learning and development team. I carried out both qualitative and quantitative research on the departments digital marketing. This involved creating a survey, carrying out telephone interviews with Macmillan professionals. I also completed statistical analysis of large amounts of data. I was then able to present my findings to management from which they made changes to their content. Aside from my main role I also experienced other areas of the organisation by representing Macmillan at various public events: Liaising with supporters, other businesses and VIPs.
