Board responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, IT, Public Relations and Transport compliance. Key member of team working to achieve re-finance of Company with key stakeholders including bank (Lloyds Banking Group) and Private Equity firm.Timely delivery of all financial information. This includes Statutory Financial Statements, Monthly Management Accounts and key reports required for business needs.Company Secretary for the Group ensuring all legal regulatory requirements are met.Lead on acquisitions including managing financial due diligence and collating legal due diligence.Contract negotiation with key suppliers including Utilities, Fuels and raw materials.

• Head of Finance department with managerial responsibility for purchase ledger, financial accounting, management accounting, cashier, credit control, payroll and front of house.• Responsibility for the purchase ledger team • Carrying out statutory review of financial statements to adhere to Companies Act regulations• Closely reviewing the cash position on a daily basis to ensure no breach of covenants and timely collection to meet internal targets. Maintaining regular contact with credit insurers to discuss significant issues and negotiating terms of agreements. .• All payroll functions including:- weekly / monthly for the Group, benefits in kind, dispensations, payment settlement agreements (PSA), pensions etc.• Office manager for main office block containing 100 full time staff with responsibility for all facilities• Prepare management and statutory accounts for an employee owned papermaking company with a turnover of c.£110m. • Fleet Manager of all company vehicles encompassing setting policy, agreeing insurance, managing vehicle health and safety, car benefits, leasing, purchase and sales.• Direct responsibility for the year end process up to and including audit sign off. • Key Member of the senior management team reporting into the board including preparation and presentation of results, budgets and forecasts on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. • Review and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries owned by the group company. • Staff Pension Scheme Trustee of a defined benefit and defined contribution scheme.• Negotiating contracts with suppliers to obtain best possible outcome for the company.• Involvement in many HR issues to support the operational team.• Project leader on special projects such as building and attaining funds for an Eco-Centre in the village of Markinch (value £1m).
