Responsible for sales and project management for a full service design/build contractor that offers a wide variety of construction choices from timer frame, steel frame, stud wall, precast wall panel, concrete block, poured wall and masonry construction.

I am an outside sales rep building new relationships and maintaining existing ones. Part of my job is also general operations of facility. EC Drywall is owned by L & W Supppy a nationwide drywall distributor that is a branch of USG.

-Responsible for the overall design and construction management of residential projects.-Refined the overall building process (planning to execution) of the new company.-Developed forms and contracts to streamline efficiency of administrative processes.-Supervised and trained 5 employees with very little prior construction experience.-Implemented sound business strategies throughout entire organization.-Presented home building seminars to customers and prospects.-Represented the company at local trade shows.

Purchased equipment, implemented computer hardware and software, developed and conducted training programs.-Responsible for all business aspects of homebuilding - prepared labor and material take-offs, conducted all job estimating and costing, computer drafting/design, worked closely with customers on sales/contracts/selections, change orders, all accounting and invoicing, raw material and vendor procurement, job site supervision, overall management of the business. -Supervised office and field employees – hiring, training, evaluation, discipline, termination as well as managing sub-contractors and vendors. -Created databases to monitor and validate productivity and job costs as well as improve estimating risk.-Built positive rapport with architects/engineers, local officials, financial institutions, vendors and clients while maintaining costs and schedule.
