- Key-Holding and Line Management Responsibilities- Managing a team of up to 8 people, rising to 14 during peak periods- Building rotas and schedules for my team- Making sure that the delivery rotas are up-to-date- Organising the team and hours based on delivery times and sizes- Picking stock dependent on the home deliveries booked in for the next day- Quality control checking- Fixing and solving any issues that arise within the delivery process- Signing off deliveries- Generating ideas to maximize stock-room potential- Affecting change to maximize efficiency and quality of the stock being put away - Over-seeing the morning hub operations which is where we service other Argos stores in the area with stock that their customers have ordered before their opening hours- A major part of my role is managing the Fast-Track Home Delivery service that Argos offer to its customers- This service involves the picking, labeling and packaging of stock and ensuring everything is put in the correct locations before going out for delivery in the morning- Over-seeing the morning drivers coming in and collecting their deliveries including the loading and management of the hub operation so that this runs smoothly and on-time- Managing the work to time-constraints
