Management of the PUH/SHY facilities infrastructure construction program, management of the PUH/SHY parking facilities infrastructure capital program, coordination of PUH/SHY construction services for University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine capital projects, engineering design review for PUH/SHY construction projects, engineering consultant for hospital capital projects, involvement in project delivery process improvement initiatives, review and analysis of proposed project/budget/planning software platforms.

Supervision of a multi-skilled construction management team consisting of 7 project managers/project engineer/and an equipment planner, development and oversight of the annual capital construction budget for the PUH/SHY campuses, development of long range capital planning for the PUH/SHY campuses, monthly analysis and review of construction department cash flows, project assignment of staff, provide oversight for development and execution of all PUH/SHY campus construction projects, on an as needed basis manage highly complex or mission critical construction projects.

Duties included the development of conceptual designs and project budgets; sequencing/scheduling/assigning staff to projects; coordination of consulting engineers and architects to ensure effective project design; review and approval of construction documents; procurement of proposals from qualified firms through the bidding and RFP process; review of project pricing and performing value engineering functions; the preparation and issuing of contracts and purchase orders; acting as a liaison between construction personnel and building occupants; monitoring of project progress; controlling project budgets; the review of all contractor and vendor invoicing for the Oakland campus; ensuring project compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal quality standards; maintaining project adherence to campus safety programs; the coordination of project commissioning and occupancy; supervising the activities and assignments of 5 staff project managers.

Duties included acting as primary project manager for construction management services to the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. In this role, oversaw development and extensive renovation of class rooms, teaching labs, research labs, bio-hazard facilities, and animal vivariums
