I have over 20 years IT experience in Systems Engineering, Architecture, and Management.From a management side I have created and implemented SRE at organizations, led personnel, controlled CapEx and OpEx, and managed scheduling to maintain 24/7/365 access. The defining and implementation of KPI's and SLO's and managing driving to meet those targets via proper triage and project prioritization.From a technical perspective, everything from infrastructure and the vast array of infrastructure services (AD, DNS, HADR, SQL, etc., etc.), to the product side and working on identifying technical, user, and business requirements. The implementation of meaningful but minimal monitoring and alerting with a primary focus on self-healing and automatic fail over for low touch maximized uptime.I have additionally managed cloud migration projects to both Azure and AWS, as well as hybrid public/private cloud implementations.My objective is to build strong IT organizations with an emphasis on the infrastructure and SRE foundation while driving intelligent design, utilization & implementation of both existing & future technologies be they hardware or software, relevant to business needs. To manage those responsible for the operation of current Infrastructure Technology & to design and manage the implementation of future technology for the company. To improve upon & introduce new automation & design changes that allow for greater flexibility & response at reduced cost.
