For more than 20 years, I have worked with more than 400 institutions in 40+ states to help align programs and practices to the expectations of working undergraduate and graduate students, online students, and other "post-traditional" audiences. My consulting, underpinned by customized market research and national trend data, has helped institutions update curriculum. marketing strategies, recruitment practices, and admissions policies to better reflect the unique needs of these students. With recent data indicating that less than 40 percent of all students enroll in a traditional (18, enrolled full time, in a classroom program) experience, and with slowing growth among graduate and online populations, it is essential that institutions underpin strategic decisions with an understanding (empirical data) of what these students need and expect. I am a regular presenter at national conferences focusing on the meeting point of market data and institutional practices in setting strategies for enrollment growth. I am the the author, co-author, or contributor of numerous reports and presentations focusing on the expectations, preferences, and educational needs of graduate students, online students (at both levels), undergraduate adult students, and other "post-traditional" audiences.
