Having worked in the logistics industry for over twenty years, I am experienced in warehouse, distribution, linehaul, rail, shipping and courier operations, in both the international and domestic transport sectors.I have managed P&L’s with revenue of up to 200 million dollars and had responsibility for over 150 full time employees. My direct reports have included areas such as inventory, operations (transport and warehouse), sales, call centre, customer service and account management. My supply chain experience includes 3PL and in-house warehousing, inventory management operating both push and pull markets strategies and various warehouse management and ERP technologies. Within transport and distribution I have had experience in the provision of services in a diverse array of areas including international courier and mail, security and safe hand, air and sea freight forwarding, domestic air, road and rail, refrigerated and ambient linehaul.Overall, my experience covers many facets of logistics including development of new business, managing client relationships, planning and achieving budgets, leading sales and operations teams and negotiating commercial terms. I have an excellent understanding of OH&S and award conditions and how to successfully conform to this legislation in all operational activities. These skills have enabled me to successfully operate in senior roles, bringing commercial success and operating efficiencies to all aspects of my work.
