Scott Juds is Chairman and CEO of SumGrowth, Inc. Scott is by nature a signal processing engineer with an MSEE from Stanford and a BSEE from UW-Madison. He is the named inventor on over 40 U.S. and foreign patents and is the published author of “Photoelectric Sensors and Controls: Selection & Application” (Marcel Dekker, New York, 1988), and “Conquering the Seven Faces of Risk” (FinTech Press, Seattle, 2017). Scott has over 30 years of experience in both hands-on and executive-level positions, including a Founder and Vice President of Engineering for IDX Inc. of El Dorado, Arkansas, Vice President of Advanced Engineering at EATON Corporation, Opcon Division, Everett, Washington, and a Founder and CEO of both SumGrowth Strategies, LLC of Seattle and Merlyn.AI, Corp. of Palo Alto that were merged to form SumGrowth, Inc. in late 2023. SumGrowth’s technologies and services are the result of more than three decades of Scott’s R&D and led to the development of “Temporal Portfolio Theory.” SectorSurfer, the company’s first subscription-based investment strategy tool, was launched in 2010.
