Manage Linux servers for NASA JSC Engineering Directorate supporting 500+ users. Working with developers to convert their Clearcase version control repositories over to Git. Maintain direct attached storage arrays as well as iSCSI based arrays. Implemented VMware vSphere and KVM virtualization servers to support Linux infrastructure VMs as well as provide build farm VMs for developers.Upgraded tape backup system to LTO-5 tape drives and implemented 10Gb Ethernet network for core network servers using Cisco Nexus hardware. Installed and configured HP C7000 blade chassis and servers to function as Linux compute nodes to support distributed simulations.
