I am a highly motivated experienced Line Manager who thrives on the challenges of working in busy manufacturing environments. I excel when managing large teams in challenging environments.I naturally create and implement effective management strategies, driving performance and fostering a team capable of implementing these strategies. I centre my management approach on using my communication skills to empower my team to work towards demanding but achievable goals.I have taken every opportunity to enhance my own professional capabilities through training, and have sought out every opportunity and cascaded this through my team. In addition to many line management training courses I have proactively focused my personal development plan on increasing my knowledge and understanding of management tools such as employee engagement and coaching and mentoring others.I have a passion for continuous improvement and have a successful record of increasing productivity, eliminating waste and reducing operating costs through various CI activities.I understand the value that CI brings and how it can deliver on many levels, driving performance and engagement with individuals/teams. I actively encourage collaboration through these activities and help guide and mentor stakeholders to facilitate their own projects.Putting the skills I have learnt through these activities into practice I have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to facilitating improved performance within my teams.
