Scott Gilpatrick is Vice President for CARROLL and is responsible for the operations of over 101 communities, 33,000 apartment homes in Florida, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Colorado. His responsibilities include providing leadership to his Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Property Managers and Regional Maintenance Supervisors while coordinating communications with owners, asset managers and senior management.Relevant Experience:Scott has been an active multi-family professional for over 28 years with a wide variety of experience in lease-up, value add, repositioning as well as third party management throughout the country. Previous to Carroll, he was the Senior Vice President for Equus Capital Partners/Madison Apartment Group and was responsible for the operations of over 15,000 units throughout the Mid-West and the entire East Coast ranging from Pennsylvania to Florida. His experience at Madison included the successful execution of business plans for lease-ups, value add high-rise and garden style communities. Scott was also a Vice President at Berkshire Realty Advisors and Vice President and Director of Property Management at Sawyer Realty Holdings, where he strategically participated in the takeover of Town and Country REIT which doubled Sawyer’s unit count to 40,000 in a joint venture with Morgan Stanley. Education/Affiliations:Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University, Miami, FL. He has served as a board member of the South Florida Apartment Association and is currently active in the Atlanta Apartment Association, Birmingham Apartment Association and Memphis Apartment Association. He is past President of Lorings Square Homeowners Association and is actively involved in fundraising with the National Kidney Foundation and the ASPCA. He and his wife Lisa are also active members of North Metro Church.
