 Coordinate all aspects of data collection, retrieval, management and analysis for clinical research protocols within the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Collect and provide data used for assessing patient eligibility as well as toxicity reporting and disease response. Maintain adherence to protocol design to ensure all data are collected in accordance with research protocol guidelines. Collaborate with multiple disciplines including Research Coordinators, Principal and Sub Investigators, Clinical and Support staff to obtain and report accurate data. Work closely with Clinical Trials Office Subsite Coordinator and various subsite staff to improve existing procedures as well as implement new data collection procedures for protocols involving other research sites. Collaborate with database support staff to facilitate collection and submission of research data through proprietary software.

 Completing patient care tasks as well as responding to patient requests and complaints.  Communicating patient condition with nursing staff as well as physician and taking appropriate action as circumstances dictate or as directed.  Familiarity with and use of different types of medical equipment and supplies as well as medical terminology.  Completing clerical and administrative tasks such as assigning staff patient groups and delegating tasks to appropriate staff. Routinely provide emotional support to a diverse patient population in various stages of wellness and illness.
