Associate Lecturer and Criminology and Criminal Justice Researcher. PhD researcher at LJMU looking at what it means to belong in higher education institutions in you have lived experience of the criminal justice system. MA in Criminology and Criminal Justice (Distinction), BA (Hons) Psychology. Member of the the BSC Prison Research Network, the Lincoln Centre for Crime and Justice, the Violence in Society Research Group, the Experience for Justice Collective CIC executive steering group and the Forensic and Crime Research Group. Integrative Psychotherapist. Fraud consultant advising specialist organisations in fraud prevention. Guest speaker working with universities, the prison service, probation service and the police force in advisory, research and evaluation capacities. Formerly worked as a managing director and held various senior executive and project management roles in the banking industry and have a specialism of high value finance, corporate restructuring and recovery strategies. I have participated in an extensive variety research projects and actively participate in prison outreach programmes. Lived experience of the criminal justice system having served a total 11 and a half years for financial crimes.
