Supervise mechanical maintenance shop (Mechanics, Welder and Lubricators) that covers a wide range of equipment (Paper Machine, Winders, Sheeters, Kraft and Film Roll Wraps, Coater and Shipping Department Equipment). Handle all Daily Operations Planning, Scheduling and Execution of Jobs. When planning jobs I make sure Safety is main focus and all Safety Permits are included and reviewed. I make sure all my shop employees complete their online Safety Training in a timely manner. I use SAP, Kronos, Teams and Excel daily. I am always looking for ways to improve the equipment and processes to make them more reliable. I have designed systems that have proven to have increased reliability of equipment also worked with vendors to make improvements to the equipment. I also help Area Shutdown Planner with Planning Monthly and Annual shutdowns, align jobs on Shutdown Schedule so workflow is efficient and I Schedule the manpower for the shutdown. For the 2022 10 Paper Machine Annual Shutdown I have been assigned as a Project Engineer over Dryend Pulper Conveyor which I am including 4 improvements that will make the conveyor more reliable also been given Winder Drum Roll Project.
