About Scott Kirchmann

Career professional with a Master's Degrees in Secondary Education ('13) and a Master's Degree in Athletic Administration ('99). Sixteen years in the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaching field with 11 years serving as a head coach on the NCAA Division I level. Several of my former student athletes are playing professionally. In 2011 and 2006 I was nominated for the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. My career reflects dual tracks in teaching and coaching. I had eight straight NCAA Tournament appearance in seven years (2006-2012) for the University of Montana and Belmont University with both men's and women's basketball teams. Sport specific training includes: basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, cross country, tennis, football and golf. While at Belmont, I helped the men's basketball team make three straight appearances matching up with UCLA, Georgetown and Duke in the first rounds. In 2007, both Belmont men's and women's teams made the tournament by winning the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Lady Bruins matched up against Georgia in the first round.
