As the first engineering hire I continuously work to ship enterprise level Labor Operations software for construction contractors. At the senior level I own features through the entire development process. - Comic Book Collection Web App: Used Agile principles to develop an application allowing users to add comics to their personal collection from a third party API. Built with Vue.js, REST, Java, PostgreSQL. - National Parks Web App: Built a web application with Spring MVC displaying dynamic data on National Parks. Controller uses the post/redirect/get pattern. Reads in and posts to a database, and implements integration testing.- National Park Reservation System: Created a Java CLI program that connects to a PostgreSQL database which commits searches for National Park campsites and creates reservations based on user input.- Vending Machine Software: Developed CLI program using Java, File I/O, and Unit Testing that reads in options for a vending machine allowing a user to input money, select items, receive change, and create log files.- Synthesizer - Built a simple synth app with JavaScript HTML DOM using the tone.js framework that allows a user to play a virtual synth via mouse clicks and keyboard.- Shopping Cart Web App: Designed an online shopping cart with Spring MVC that saves a user’s session while browsing items and writes to a Database when completed. Implemented responsive design with CSS.- Flash Card Web App: Using Spring MVC made a flash card application that allows a user to enter their own study cards to a database and randomly flips through them.- I Ching Fortune Reading App: Designed Java CLI program that tosses coins to tell one’s fortune based on ancient Chinese readings from the I Ching generated using File I/O and saves results to a PostgreSQL database.
