CurrentLed implementation of Procure-To-Pay (PTP) functions—procurement, warehouse and inventory management and accounts payable—in ERP deployments at multiple mining businesses in the US and Canada, including Kennecott Copper• Manage ongoing engagement and improvement activities with all business units and support functions based in the Americas (primarily US/Canada) and outsourced service provider partners based in India and Poland• Provided process governance and leadership of PTP IT systems, including ERP, for all US-based mines and support functions• Ad hoc (PTP) process consulting for all Rio Tinto mines and support functions operations globally; 24,000 users, 46 million procurement transactions annually• Drove efforts to fully leverage existing system capabilities and identify opportunities to develop improved processes and tool sets• Facilitate escalation of high-impact PTP IT support issues and provide business process subject matter expertise in issue resolutionAccomplishments• Provided project and process leadership for PTP components of ERP system implementations at four mining business units and two primary and multiple satellite support functions sites in the US and Canada• Contributed key process and subject matter expertise in design and deployment of contractor management toolset that is saving millions annually at first implemented site and is now being scheduled for adoption/deployment globally• Supported integration project and led implementation of third party toolset that integrates with ERP system to track MRO inventory through delivery to asset management teams that maintain plant and equipment; toolset was later deployed at multiple business units globally based on success at first deployment• Achieved and maintained high levels of stakeholder engagement and satisfaction• Deployed functionality that substantially improved the end user experience and procurement process automation in ordering MRO parts
