Managing a great QA Team at GTB, part of the team is in Dearborn and part is in Argentina. We are testing all sorts of web sites and products that we create for Ford and others. The company is moving to Agile and I am making sure the QA team moves with it. We have implemented new automation strategies that have increased the speed to market as we move forward. We have implemented a new way to deal with test cases to ensure Traceability and Transparency. We are also pushing hard on ADA (accessibility) testing and identifying tools that can help us.I am working closely with Dev ops and dev to help ensure we are hand in hand in what we are doing so that we are all on the same page. Worked with the team to move them to an Agile Scrum methodology and moved them into using HP’s ALM to track their scripts and automation. By using ALM we were able to do traceability of the test scripts back to the release and the user story. Moved the teams from MS TFS (Team Foundation Server) into Rally to track defects and user stories. I managed the eComm Web Services Team manager from June of 2012 to May of 2013. Took over the team and implemented a new communication scheme and moved the team into Quality Center to track script execution. In addition, the team has increased the amount of supported applications by 50%. Also, leading the way for code coverage testing for the eComm organization. This will help the eComm testing organization improve the coverage of their tests while reducing the amount of redundant tests. Prior to this my position was the Project Test Management for about five and a half years, and was leading the team for three of those years. I helped create and mold the original PTM organization, Testability Review, and the Test Strategy document, which is now part of the Master Test Plan. My team at one point consisted of about 35 PTMs and they were each working on different Tier 1 (1 to 5 million in cost) or tier 0 (5+ million in cost) projects. Used my experience to help them troubleshoot issues, escalate problems and resolve conflict so that the projects went out on time and within budget. In 2011 I designed the Golden Master tests for the Channels area. With help from all the Channels test teams, we implemented it in the June release to ensure the basic functionality was working across all of the Channels applications. Created a process to help my team identify changes in the estimates for a project. I was working on two Cingular projects to help improve billing issues and reduce lost revenue, as a project manager. My tasks were to over see pre-implementation task and quality assurance. My outstanding organizational skills and creative presentation development has made a positive impact with Cingular. My PowerPoint presentations has helped senior management and other groups understand what the projects accomplish and what systems they impact. The testing documents that I have created are bringing together multiple groups to accomplish an “End to End” test pass.

In this position, I was responsible for the deployment of the Download Manager as well as the Windows Mobile Start Services web portals. These sites were created for Mobile Operators all over the world (US, UK, Brazil, Germany, New Zealand, Malaysia and others) to meet their requirements and expectations using our templates. After a reorganization, the group is focusing on delivering Mobile Updates to the devices. By getting the users the updates it will not only keep their device current but also improve stability and security. I wrote multiple specs for the new direction.

At QualityLogic I started out as a Test Engineer and worked my way up to Project Manager by showing hard work, great customer focus and strong management skills. As a Project Manager, I was managing every aspect of the lab from hiring to writing proposals to setting up the test stations to managing all projects at the Seattle location. My quick ramp up time, ability to multitask and strong customer service skills took a lab that was losing money and made it profitable. The Pocket PC certification program is an excellent example of my work. Prior to taking it over, we did about 10 tests total in a six-month period.
