I ran the AbeBooks Email Marketing Program where I focused on transitioning from a batch and blast style of email communication to a system that integrated company data to trigger sends, personalize emails and automate regular sending working with both the Responsys and Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms.In addition I performed paternity coverage for our.

I ran Media and Public relations campaigns for AbeBooks through their acquisition by Amazon. I created content for the website focusing on both SEO impact and viral attractiveness; then pitched stories to journalists. Pitches featured in Reuters, New York Times, Times of London, The Guardian and more.

It's a small company so we all wear a lot of hats but my main duty is covering BookFinder.com's PR.BookFinder.com is an independent subsidiary of AbeBooks Inc.

As publicist I handled media and public relations for the annual summer festival, oversaw creation of the program guide, online and offline promotion. Additionally worked as production/product manager for setup and execution of main stage venues (including staging, fencing, musician backline, etc)

I managed the on and offline publicity as well as media relations the Victoria Jazz Society's two main music festivals - JazzFest International Victoria and the Victoria Blues Bash.
